Congressman Auchincloss’s Statement on Elon Musk’s infiltration of the Treasury Department

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Jake Auchincloss (MA-04) condemned the infiltration of the Treasury Department by Elon Musk and the DOGE advisory committee. 

“Elon Musk now has access to & control over your Social Security checks, tax refunds, and Medicare bills. It’s illegal under Section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code,” said Congressman Jake Auchincloss. “Republicans in Congress are too scared to act, but Democrats are not backing down from upholding the law and kicking Musk out of your family budget.”
